Rendezvous at Meggido.

Stupid.
School is ruining everything for me.
Not cause of the fact that its my birthday,
BUT HELLO??
Its the end of the year!
Its time for a break.
This sucks.

People come, People go.
All through time,
He has walked the lives of so many men now.
Some have made it,
Some haven't.
Some achieved great things,
Some  failed to.
Some persevered in the challenges and obstacles posed in their lives,
Some were too caught up in what the world thought of and expected of them.

Life really is just a fragile thing.
It'll come and go.
Even though in our youths there seems to be so much time.
So much time to busk in the bliss of life,
There really isn't.
Every second counts.
Every one of it.

All of life's phases,
The ones which are the norms to go through,
Like careers, marriage, children, grandchildren so on and so forth,
Will all fade in light of the final destination for us all.
What is to be made of our lives?
How will it all end?

So save the celebration for heaven and merry-making.
For that phase is saved for the days we have in eternity.
For now it is a moment of simple yet subtle tasks which need to be accomplished.
What is the purpose of being here?
Simple tasks. Very simple tasks.
Tasks which are able to be done by us all.
Yet some will not do it.
Some cannot.
That is indeed sad truth.

Well.
Some thoughts for today.
My resolutions for 2009?
Simple.
Perfect my faith.
Brush up my skills.
And realign myself to the purpose at hand.
